Nichole K. Kathol is a trial consultant at Laird Trial Consulting, L.L.C.  Nichole earned a Ph.D. in Communication Studies from the University of Kansas.   She started her professional career as a professor of Communication and was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor of Communication with tenure at both The University of Wisconsin and Lake Erie College. She has a wide teaching repertoire including courses in communication research design, public speaking, interviewing, small group communication, and persuasion.  Nichole has designed in-person and online research projects, facilitated mock trials, and analyzed jury data for numerous prominent cases.  Nichole’s consulting, research and teaching experience equip her with the tools for skillful jury research, mock trial data collection, and trial preparation.
