Jamie Ledet Laird is the president and founder of Laird Trial Consulting, L.L.C. Jamie began her consulting career in 2003 and has worked on some of the biggest cases across the country. She specializes in complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on intellectual property cases. She also works in the areas of product liability, toxic tort, antitrust, and breach of contract. Jamie has a special talent for connecting with witnesses to assist them in communicating their story effectively to jurors. This is true especially in situations where witnesses must take complex technical information and distill it into a format that is understandable to the average person.

Jamie received her master’s degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in Legal Communication from the University of Kansas. While at KU, she was an undergraduate public speaking instructor. Her degrees in Communication Studies and her experience teaching public speaking at the collegiate level constitute the foundation of her expert witness preparation skills. Jamie has nearly two decades of experience designing jury research studies, analyzing focus group and mock trial data, creating supplemental jury questionnaires and attorney voir dire, selecting juries at trial, and conducting post-trial juror interviews.
